The Foundation’s goal is to build the next generation of diverse researchers. We want to make sure that world-class research opportunities are not hidden in Ivory towers but shared with the world’s best students, irrespective of their backgrounds.

What’s a researcher?

We define a researcher as anyone who is trying to investigate something new and is approaching it in a rigorous way. Researchers explore the unknown of human knowledge and come back with answers. Our mission is not to create the next generation of PhD students (though I’m sure some of our scholars will!), but to help level the playing field for these underserved students who rarely have the opportunity to explore research in high school.
